Canon: Guinevere, known simply as Gwen, is the future queen of Camelot, and the future wife of Arthur Pendragon. She is also a close friend of Merlin, and the sister of Sir Elyan.
She is the only daughter of a blacksmith named Tom, she has been the personal maidservant to the Lady Morgana since they were both young children. According to Merlin, she is one of the best seamstresses in Camelot and has learned from her father Tom how to mend armour and work with weapons. Gwen only mentioned her mother once, saying that she was a maid in Sir Leon’s household and that Gwen had grown up with Leon.
ASOIAF!AU: Gwen has been a servant in the Stark household in Winterfell for most of her life, as her mother was before her. With her mother and father now both dead she likes to think of them as her family even if they do not feel the same about her. She would do anything for them and is extremely loyal to anyone holding the Stark name.
Modern!AU: Gwen lives in a large city and is a maid to a very prominent family, the Pendragons. Just a modern version of Gwen where she will be familiar with all the latest technologies and ways of life!
